Children take one class each week at their school. (4 classes/month)
Classes are 35 minutes.
Enrollment continues until we are notified directly.
5th weeks in a month are used as an extra class if school is ever closed.
LISTEN, LEARN, PLAY!®
Our kids music classes are broken down into three parts.
LISTEN
The My Music Workshop "Listen" Song Book is full of captivating songs and activities! Children have fun singing, dancing, finding the beat, learning about song form, and much more. Children might use rhythm scarves, shakers, and the parachute for the "Listen" portion of the class. Many of the "Listen" songs are from My Music Workshop Founder, Lianna Berlinger's children's ablum "Dare to Dream". Click HERE for the album.
LEARN
It's time to LEARN! My Music Workshop founders, Elias and Lianna Berlinger, have created The Little Music Masters® Series, a completely new way for children to learn music! Our curriculum invites students into a world of music with vibrant illustrations, engaging stories, friendly characters, and exciting activities. Specifically designed for children ages 2 – 6, it teaches while entertaining. The entire series spans five learning areas; 1. Reading Music 2. Instrument Exploration 3. Rhythm and Drums 4. The Piano 5. Musical Symbos & More. Each unit is used to slowly introduce more advanced musical ideas. Individual lessons stand alone as fun and engaging pieces that also fit together to bring young children a full ranging musical education. After becoming familiar with the lessons, children will be “Little Music Masters®.”
PLAY
The last part of each class is when children PLAY real instruments. *We provide all the instruments. Ranging from small guitars to keyboards, ukuleles and drums, the students learn the fundamentals of playing the instruments properly. The point of having them pick an instrument is to see what they are drawn towards, and to and "feel" like they are playing. This helps keep a positive relationship with instruments and music. When students begin private lessons they are often many steps ahead after spending time in My Music Workshop classes.

Each teacher is equipped with a wagon full of fun instruments! It is important for the children to explore and have fun! Teachers guide the children with each instrument to help them properly play, learn the fundamentals and rock!
